So I was feeling pretty poopy today and Kolt took pity on me and let me go buy enough fabric to make one set of curtains for the nursery. It took forever just buying the fabric because the store was having a super clearance on all fabric except for the kind I bought. O well. Its totally worth it. There were some pretty hideous projects in the works from what I saw other people buying....I still have to buy the rods to hold the curtains up, as you can see they're clothes-pinned currently.

I also thought I'd throw in my beautiful quilt that is completed thanks to my awesome mom!! She bound the edges for me and they are b-eautiful!!

Sorry Carrie that it took me a few days to get this posted. Originally, I had planned to post pictures when I actually finished the quilt but it's close enough tonight! Mom is awesome and decided to go ahead and bind it for me--it's my least favorite part of the quilting process. So yeah, the fabric is all Amy Butler and freakin' sweeeet!!

Pregnancy update

Since I haven't updated in a while I figured I could today--


I'll hit 30 weeks on thursday and our baby D is getting big. Supposedly, at this point he should be nearing the 3 lb. mark and be almost 16 inches long!! Mostly he's just getting fatter and longer and that's about it. But 3 lbs is about the size of a cabbage head so yeah. Hopefully it's not the size of the baby's head....

Oh so smart

Baby D discovered that he has elbows! Or I guess I should say that I discovered the kid has elbows. Mostly his right one. He loves to streeeeetch and rub it up and down and up and down and up my belly. Oh boy. It hasn't hurt up until now when he kicked me or poked me but I guess space is getting a little tight in there. He elbowed me for almost 10 minutes this morning! Ahh, the joys of pregnancy! and I still love it, even though it makes me cringe every time. Pretty soon he can do all the stretching he wants on the outside.

Probably the Best Mini-Orange I have ever had

I'm always a bit hesitant to buy clementines these days because the last batch I got were YUCKY. But they had little tangerines at walmart when I was there shopping so I gave them a whirl. HOLY MOLEY---Seriously the best orange/tangerine I have ever had! It tastes just like the tangerine Snow Shack! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....Snoooooooowwww Shaaaack. It made my morning.

Wah-bam! I have a tummy! Where did that come from?

So for lack of anything else to blog about, I though I'd do a re-cap on the growth of the belly. It only took three months for me to finally look prego. Today marks 7 months, officially I'm in my third trimester. And even though I don't look like I'm three months away from delivering, I think this next month will completely change that. I kind of blew up over Christmas Break, the ladies at work were all astounded at my belly when I came back. :) And Baby D is getting heavier every day. I can feel his weight now when I go from laying down to standing. As far as I can tell, my pregnancy has been pretty mild (except for the puky-bout at the beginning). My doctor keeps telling me to count my blessings, and I do, because my friend at work has had a much harder pregnancy than I have. She's always sick, or hurting, or looking like she hasn't slept in a week...poor thing. So yeah. check back in a month or two and then I'll tell you how I really feel!!

sorry you get to hear my lame comments and how the video is kind of red....don't know why it does that sometimes. But we got a new toy for Christmas... A video camera!! We were filming fools all during the break. This was one of my favorites. I'm still working on how to make our videos come out better but in the mean time, you'll just have to settle for sub-par photography. and sorry for the wobbliness...my tummy shakes when I laugh!! (yes, like a bowl full of jelly.)
