I took some pictures of my cousin's baby for her a while ago. It was fun and it made me happy that my baby is a bit older than newborn. Just makes me tired thinking about taking care of a new baby.

Kolt finally was able to buy himself a motorcycle this weekend. and Des is in heaven. Just this morning, he begged Kolt to take him for a ride before work. So Kolt did. How awesome is that?

this is the one for the wall, i think. he giggled the whole shoot because he was, well, trying to run me over with his tractor. sorta sums up his 3rd year so far...

And then he came in and did all sorts of incriminating things in the buff as well. Ohhh do I have some awesome blackmail photos for when he's 16 and wanting to date. oh yes I do.

Des had a birthday bash with his cousin Banks this year.

And I'm not feeling up to typing a bunch of words so here are the pics. it was glorious.

A Gray update

First things first, this kid is mobile. Maaaaybe not super fast yet but he squirms pretty much anywhere he can. He's got the squiggles down and now he can even pull his stomach up off the floor for a bit. Its only a matter of time.

Second, Gray was introduced to those baby puffs that dissolve in your mouth and he hasn't looked back. Loves em. Also gave him the sippy cup today and he likes that too, just not as much as the puffs. gotta have his puffs.

And last, he discovered the scream. Oh. the scream. how it haunts my nights. Well, only one night in particular that ended up with him packed in his car seat at 1 am with full intention of us driving to the emergency room when he decided that life was not, in fact, ending. But since then he figured out it was a haaaaaaaaaandy tool to be used at any given unfortunate bed time/ nap time/ pretty much whenever he can't get what he wants. (and the problem ended up being he was super constipated and the suppository that we gave him did its dirty work later that morning.) but seriously. you should've heard the screaming.

So that's it for now.

Oh I made him a mobile (finally) this morning for above his crib. Perhaps I'll take some pictures later.

missing my sister and her fun boys. they visited a while ago and it was a blast.

radio silence

hey. we're still here. just having to wait until my computer is set up to upload photos...I have a bunch since my sister and her kids came a few weeks ago and we've had birthday parties and newborn photoshoots and all sorts of changes. seriously. even a new job. and we're going to tour a possible home sometime soon too.

so sorry. we'll be coming back soon.
