This barely qualifies as a post

But I just had a break-through. Take your ordinary vanilla yogurt. Add a spoon full of caramel topping. WALAH! Amazing!! Not exactly a healthy sort-of-deal but I guess the yogurt part is good for you. We all need a little acedophilus in our diet, right? Right. And caramel.

p.s. I think we rented our place!! We'll see if they come back with their application but as of last night they were on board. Even when we told them our washing machine had died just a day before. We'll keep you posted.

my new look

just saying that the photo-bucket fiasco struck my blog as my old background no longer works. (I was wondering why it kept saying something about my image no longer being available...) so i put in something temporary but yeah. Don't say mean things how it kinda doesn't match and stuff like that.  :D  it mostly works, just not super cohesive.

Went to DI the other day and got a bunch of books and stuff for my upcoming photo shoot for Baby Windsor. I always try to skim through the patterns for goodies and I found this one for FIFTY CENTS. SwEeT! I got it for the pencil skirt but the pleated one looks interesting too...

Oooook

time to do something so you know we're still kicking. We've been busy over here. Lots of stuff going on. SO! Let me fill you in...

First, we decided to help my dad out a bit and MOVE IN WITH HIM!

Crazy, I know. We're going to be renting out our house (know anyone who wants a sweet townhome in a reaaaaally nice location? Close to UVU, shopping, I-15...) and moving in ASAP. This way, I can help keep him fed and we can save, save, save and pay off our debt. We'd probably sell our place if we could but the time isn't right.

Next, our dog is super sick. Things aren't going so hot for him and the problem is we really can't afford to take him to the vet anymore. My grandpa paid for the last visit and it was $200. Anyone have a good idea? I like him and don't really want to euthanize him just because we're too poor. But that might be the case. Or if you know someone who wants a super cute dog that has a few health problems...I'd be interested in knowing. I think he could be fixed.  Currently, we're trying to get rid of crystals in his urine (kinda like a kidney stone), he's got some arthritis (and he's TWO), but now he's puking up water and not wanting to lay down and it breaks my heart because I can't do anything. Sad story.

Next! Des is doing great. He got his 15-month old shots yesterday and he was wobbling and hobbling around this morning with swollen thighs. But now he's snoozing and hopefully they'll feel a little better when he gets up. Last time they weighed him he was 26 lbs and I can't remember how tall. But average. 50% or so...He's got 6 teeth (3 on top, 3 on bottom) and the other two are trying to break through. His hair is getting a bit out of control so a haircut might be in the near future.

And I'm trying to get some photos for my new website this week. I'm trying to finish up the ties too so I have something to take pictures of! We'll see how it goes. We have a few little models lined up for some fresh faces (but we'll still be using Des and my friend's baby too). I'll keep you posted how it goes.

Lookie what I got today!

Know what it is? Japanese masking tape! It's what I'm going to use for my packaging this next year for Baby Windsor.  Straight from JAPAN! I'm in love. Too bad when I got it the edges of the envelope weren't sealed so...I'm actually missing a roll. Hopefully it shows up in a separate envelope.

I have a ton of new fabrics for ties too and I'm going to re-vamp the website too so stay tuned! I'll let you know when I get my stuff together and we'll do a big "re-opening"! (do I smell sweet deals?)  I actually don't know, but its a good idea!

I painted this last night. My wall needs a little sprucing up and I really liked how this beauty turned out. Now all I need is a frame...

We're still here....

Just trying to recover from a totally AWESOME last week with my sister and the family. But now I can barely see straight and life needs attending to 'round here. So yeah. And the sad thing is you'd think I'd have tons of pictures to share. But I don't. Ha! Took my camera to everything and didn't bring it out ONCE. It was kind of liberating but now I regret it. Sorry.
