What we've been doing

It seems as though Mr. Fox succumbed to his illness (or the neighbors dogs got him...) Either way he's been a no-show for several days now. So that's good.

And the other day it was actually sunny and warm and we all got the spring bug bad. We bought seeds. We bought some sweet rain boots for Des. And we played. Outside. Gasp.

Its always fun to throw big rocks

Turtle time!! (evil mom took a picture before helping him back up)

Kolt took this. I'm not sure why it went all bronze-y but I kinda like it.

And we're still trying to figure out the camera. More pics in focus this time but still a bunch that didn't work. So don't make fun of us. :D

update on the fox situation

...so we think the fox has rabies.

We took a neighborhood poll and the consensus is that foxes are nocturnal and the fact that this particular fox likes to run around ALL day long, has terrible looking fur/tail, and runs with an arched back would suggest he may not be feeling like himself.

The Fantastic Mr. Fox was unavailable to comment.

if we see him again we're calling the county wild life peeps to come take a look.

and we'll keep you posted.

Thaaat's why they call it Fox Hollow Golf Course....

Pray for your lives chickens. It looks like this little guy has been through a few tight spots...(e.g. missing most of his tail??)

Yes, we're still here.

and we got a new camera!! Now we're just trying to figure out how to work it...

one of mine, playing with the focus and aperature
too bad this was during kolt's "a blurry picture is still a good picture" stage. glad we talked that one over...next time it will be in focus! woo! and my cropping was a bit off. dangit!
another of kolt's. he thought it was funny

obviously we still have a ways to go but its suuuper fun having a good camera. In case you were wondering, we picked up a Nikon D80 off of KSL for cheap. Barely used too.
