so i'm now at 34 1/2 weeks. Only a month left!! And now I know what "uncomfortable" means. My hips were the first thing to go, then my sciatic nerve is being pinched, now my back hurts from having to sit in a hard chair all the time, and my round ligaments are puuuuuuuuuulling and puuuulling. I suppose I needed to appreciate what a real pregnancy feels like, instead of my fairytale (all but the first 4 months) joy ride.
I went to the doctor's yesterday and I measured and weighed in "perfectly", according to my doctor. So that was lovely news. I got to schedule for two weeks, and then they start checking to see if i'm dilating and what-not. And he said that as long as I make it two more weeks, he'll be happy and not worried about delivering early at all. But like I have anything to do with that! It does give me hope that this thing will end! And I'll have a baby boy to have. forever. who poops and screams...but is ultimately the best thing ever!!

Tag-- I'm it.
I was tagged by Taffee....
The RULES are to go to your Picture Folder on your computer or wherever you store your pictures. Go to the 6th Folder, then pick the 6th picture in that folder. Post that picture on your blog and the story that goes along with the picture. Tag 6 other people that you know to do the same thing and leave a comment on their blog or an e-mail letting them know you chose them.

Here is my picture...

This picture is Kolt golfing two years ago, trying to make a putt. Mostly, I used to go ride along and watch. So this was my 6th picture in my 6th folder. Not very exciting. But he's cutie and I love him. :)
As far as tagging people.....I don't really have 6 people to tag. Soooo if you read this and feel like you want to play along, be my guest!! Post your 6th picture in your 6th folder (why is it 6 anyway?) and if you play along by the rules, tag 6 more people and let them know by posting on their blog or e-mailing them.

Practice Baby
Today I went to visit my friend from work at the hospital. She had her baby boy just yesterday and OH MY GOSH was he cute! It freaked me out though, because I'm going to have one of those in a MONTH. ahh how we doin. And she went TWO WEEKS early so yeah. HOLY CRAP.
Every day since Valentines my Braxton hicks have really picked up, too. Just another indication that this baby train is a-comin'. I have at least two every hour and sometimes they even kinda ache. So brace yourselves, folks. Because this is happening. I hope I get through my prenatal classes before I go into labor.
Oh, and I'm not sure what the policy is at AF hospital (where I'll be delivering) but Utah Valley Regional is like a lock-down facility. You have to have a name, room number, and code in order to access the labor and delivery floor. So for all those fellow bloggers who plan on visiting, you'll want to call in before to make sure you can get in. But i'm sure we'll let you know when the news goes out that i'm at the hospital.

Things I learned tonight
1. there is hope for American Idol. Not only did my favorite guy get through to the top 12, my least favorite person on the whole entire show did not!! Goooodbye Tatianna!

2. Its going to take until 2013 for us to pay off all but our mortgage, which is actually awesome because that's not even extra money thrown in to the mix. That's just the regular payments, but doing the whole "take what you were paying and add it to the next". We'll actually cut off 12 years in payments, and eventually save over 30,000.
3. I really, really, really like triple chocolate ice cream. Enough to not want to ask Kolt if he wanted any. The ice cream is MINE. Waaah-hah-ahahh!! I kind of felt bad afterwards, but not really.
4. I'm really excited to get my taxes filed! I hope we'll get a good return this year because we could really use it. Turbo tax is awesome. I know, i'm sick.
5. My hubby was way more excited about getting "the best legs in the whole entire game" (meaning armor for his lady's legs on WOW) than he was when I told him we were pregnant....Not sure what that means.... mostly i just laughed and I pointed it out to him. He was a little embarrassed... :)

where did my blog go???
um, not sure why its not loading correctly. I hope this is only temporary. And I hope this actually works. Testing, testing, one, two, three.....

The Bedding is DONE.**
**for full effect, have my little bro Brian say the title for you...
The bedding is complete! I finished up the last of it last night and I looove it! Its something you gotta see in real life to fully appreciate the beauty. Oh, and I'm going to brag here a bit ---but I'd just like to say that I did not have a pattern for ANY of it. Made it up myself. Boo-ya.
As the photo clearly defines, I made the bumpers and the bedskirt all matchy-matchy.

As the photo clearly defines, I made the bumpers and the bedskirt all matchy-matchy.And another bonus: we got a free TV. Kolt's buddy from work (and WOW, might I add. I know, he actually has REAL friends in that world of warcraft...crazy) needed help moving on saturday so we went over and I sat there nicely while they moved stuff. At the end, they wanted to get rid of an even bigger TV but it was just too big for the nursery so she (said friend's girlfriend) got the magic idea of swapping her daughter's smaller TV for the big one. Problem solved! So now we have a sweeet TV for those late nights of complete and utter zombiness in the nursery.
a wee little update
soon to be posted, the completed bedding for baby d's crib!! I finished it last night but Kolt was playing on the computer and so I couldn't post.
