We're going through our food storage and clearing out all the old to bring in some new and I discovered I have around 30 jars of baby food (gerber and beechnut--mostly beechnut) that will expire by the end of the year. So they're still good. Most expire November I think. Anyway, if you are interested let me know! You can come get em!
I also have some Gerber baby cereal too if you want it. Its not that expensive to buy your own but hey, it's here. It's free. Pretty sure its either oatmeal or whole grain since the rice stopped up des like nothing else.
That is all. Go work on your food storage! :D
Post Edit: Looks like we have a taker already! Taffee wins!!

does someone want to make me a spiffy new header?
you see...I'm full of excuses which include:
I'm pregnant.
I'm tired because i'm pregnant.
I'm mostly just lazy and don't wanna do it.
And I don't have any software to do it because we didn't upload paint.net or whatever its called.
and I'm lazy.
thanks.

Baby Windsor is no longer online
So it wasn't supposed to go down like this but I don't have enough energy to care...I canceled my auto-renewal on the website yesterday and it was supposed to run until July. But its down so I guess they wanted more money or something. I dunno. But I still make ties, just no longer going to have an online presence. We're slowly going to faze out the business with number 2 coming in September. Just don't really want to. I might pick it up again after but we'll cross that bridge when we get there (as my brother brian always says).
But if you have a sweet little Baby Windsor Link on your blog you probably want to take it down. and I'll be deleting that portion on my facebook too. Just FYI.
I feel strangely free....
Oh and if you need/want/desire a tie in the future, just email me. Or comment on something since it emails me those anyway. I'll send you pics of fabrics or whatever. Or I can show you how to make a tie because secretly, if you know how to sew, its super easy. shhh. don't tell.

Little Destry Doo
Someone told Des he was turning two soon...ohmygoodness. He is becoming both hilarious and terrible all at the same time. Just this morning he was sitting atop the overturned laundry basket just screaming. Making noise. Oh and he was naked (well, he had a diaper). Couldn't have been happier. All the while Kolt and I hid behind the doorway and giggled and Kolt recorded some of the event on his phone (although unfortunately he didn't get the good screaming ).
And he can now open the front door. So far he hasn't had the audacity to actually walk out but I'm guessing that will be sometime tomorrow. Oh, and he can open the fridge too. Once again, he hasn't connected the dots but I bet he stops by for a snack before marching out the front door. *sigh*
We also had a go-round of potty training yesterday. Its really round two because last week we started and he got a terrible rash on his poor behind which meant a trip to the dr to get some cream that would work and so we put the training on hold to heal. How's that for a run-on sentence? But yesterday we concluded that even though he's very willing, knows the process, and loves the rewards he lacks the bladder control to stop the almost constant flow of popsicles and juice boxes. But boy, he knows how to poop in the potty! Woo!! So we wait for a few more months for those muscles to develop.
Lastly, he calls me "mom" now instead of mommy. :( sad day. But kinda funny still.

a nice song for a yucky morning
got this off of Made by Joel. the video is alright but the song! the song. made my head almost feel as though I don't have a tension headache on top of a cold headache (which results in my entire noggin absolutely pounding).

Because I'm the one that edits the photos
I stole the ones Kolt took today. HA! take that, honey.
here's Des catching rainbows:

and when he woke up from nap he had some sweeeeet hair (which went right along with us watching a few episodes of Dukes of Hazards conveniently)

I'll let him post the ones we took out and about. See, it's all about compromise. :D
p.s. I started using Flickr like my good ol' sis suggested and the pictures turn out great. Of course, Kolt took them. He might have a bit more talent in that department than I. I'll stick to the post editing.

the number 12
has only a small part of this post....
And now, number 3: The Larch. The Larch.
And if you've never watched Monty Pythons flying circus, you'll have no idea why I just said that. or typed it. whatever.
I call this next group: Only child.
and this one is Kolt's. kinda fun. we need a tripod or he needs to stop drinking caffeine... jk honey. You're doing awesome!
I just had one of those ah-ha! moments. I think blogger is making my photos blurrier than they really are!! That makes me feel a bit better about my photography skills. I still keep finding my focus off but I did notice quite a few that were better this round.
And now, the number 12. Well, my friends, that's the number of weeks I'll be this Thursday. Yep. We did it (hehehehe, sorry couldn't help that one.) We held off a little longer this time to spread the news but I was able to hear the heartbeat yesterday and now I know that at least up until now we have a healthy baby something. Due: September 16th. No Melon Days this year, which is too bad since I bet I'll be craving it like crazy by then. But I guess at least when we have visitors to see the baby we can expect gifts of melon! :D
Hopefully now we can enjoy this pregnancy instead of waiting for it to turn for the worse...whew!
