Houston, we have teeth!

Well, one tooth! I just confirmed a sighting of Des' bottom left tooth. Ahh man! I'm pretty stoked. :D That's all. Carry on.

Busy Boy

Des has been going non-stop these days. He loves to play, play, play! Poor Kobe tries to take refuge in his kennel...

Des also loves drinking out of his big-boy sippy cup. The first time he got to use it, he kept turning it around to look at all the pictures (super-hero's). He can chug it like nothing else!

This was last night. One tired-out little dude with one tired-out bigger dude. Cute eh?

Where was this smile yesterday when we needed it?! We'll get to that in the future....two weeks or so. (I'm being a tease!!) :D

They're filled with little treats! I found them on the cutest blog ever called MADE . It's a blog dedicated to pretty much all things boy. If Des was a little older we'd totally make these and give 'em out. I guess in a few years...

Oh and the site is totally worth checking out. She has patterns and how-to's for some really cute stuff.

Random Video

Just remembered about how I was going to post a video about a month ago...But it was too long and I don't have any video editing software. So here's a short random one. Des likes to push stuff around the floor so we borrowed a car from Nana and its like he knows what to do with it. Crazy.

the pukes

So Des barfed last night. Twice. How I wished he knew what a puke bucket was and what to do with it. I think it was just snot getting caught and triggering the gag reflex because I fed him solids and he did alright. Its just when he has a bottle. Riiiiight after he finishes the whole 8 oz. Sits up, starts coughing, (now I start running), and ka-blam. Big boy puke. Everywhere. Awesome.

10 months old

Des is 10 months old now! My, time does fly! He's been sick for the past few days but is MUCH improved today. He's actually eating which is a relief. Yesterday it was all I could do to get him to drink a few ounces of juice. He did, however, sleep this morning until 7am, back to sleep at 9am, slept until 12pm, and back to sleep at 12:30 until 3pm! (only two hours awake if you don't want to think about it too hard) He was pooped! Now he's packing away the crackers and I'm happy.

Here's what Des is up to lately:

He can now reach our keyboard for our computer. It's one of those under-desk mounted pullout things and he can pull it out. Oh and the mouse too. He loves that.

Still no teeth. No signs of teeth. No bumps, white lines, nadda. He's going to be gumming his way through his b-day cake. :( And what I thought could be teething ended up a cold.

Favorite foods: Oranges, graham crackers, yogurt melts, eggs, bananas

Favorite toys: Walker from the grandparents Davies (although not in it, walking behind it) and the musical walker too, car we borrowed from gpa and nana, any of the dog's toys

Favorite song: Twinkle, twinkle little star. Loves it. Not sure why....
