The Bedding is DONE.**

The bedding is complete! I finished up the last of it last night and I looove it! Its something you gotta see in real life to fully appreciate the beauty. Oh, and I'm going to brag here a bit ---but I'd just like to say that I did not have a pattern for ANY of it. Made it up myself. Boo-ya.

As the photo clearly defines, I made the bumpers and the bedskirt all matchy-matchy.

And another bonus: we got a free TV. Kolt's buddy from work (and WOW, might I add. I know, he actually has REAL friends in that world of warcraft...crazy) needed help moving on saturday so we went over and I sat there nicely while they moved stuff. At the end, they wanted to get rid of an even bigger TV but it was just too big for the nursery so she (said friend's girlfriend) got the magic idea of swapping her daughter's smaller TV for the big one. Problem solved! So now we have a sweeet TV for those late nights of complete and utter zombiness in the nursery.

a wee little update

soon to be posted, the completed bedding for baby d's crib!! I finished it last night but Kolt was playing on the computer and so I couldn't post.

MTV Cribs...

Jk, it's Davies Cribs but you wouldn't have got it if I had just said that. Anyway, mom and dad bought us a crib!! And it's completely different than what I originally planned. We went shopping yesterday and I really liked this one because it's different and it still has the colors I like. Plus the drawer on the bottom is super nice because storage space is extremely limited in my house these days. The nursery is finally coming together and its looking soooooooooo cute!! Yay for baby davies!! And thanks again, mom and dad!

Comcast is a joke

I called comcast this morning to see if we could get a better rate for our internet. The lady I spoke with on the phone totally started out with, "we don't normally do rate changes for current customers..." and it only took me saying, "well, we've called in before and got it changed because our neighbors were paying less than we were for regular service." After that, she was more than happy to give us a better rate! It's just silly. They hose you because they can and only the people who call in get a good rate. The rest of the shmoes out there just suffer unknowingly. We've actually knocked off $20 monthly before because we knew exactly what someone in our ward was paying and told them the numbers. Silly, evil comcast. We wouldn't use you except our cable comes through our HOA and we can't change that.

Another tid-bit for ya....

can I just say that this week puts me at 8 MONTHS PREGNANT!!! Holy cow, where did the time go? But yeah, 32 weeks baby. After this, we're mostly in the clear so thats nice. And he just keeps getting fatter so that's good (although not so nice for me to carry him). Today I had my dr's appointment and never actually got to see my Dr. He was delivering someone's baby. But the nurse said everything looked good, that I measured good (even though she never told me what I actually measured....) and I got to schedule for three weeks from now! I could've done two weeks, but I figured since it's been pretty normal up until now we could go three. Which ended up being a good decision because my new insurance is eeeeeeevil and they don't cover as much as the last people. :( sad day. I went from having a FREE pregnancy and delivery to having to pay around $800 when it's all said and done. boooo. Aetna, oh how I dislike thee very, very much. But the bottom line (being pointed out by my smart and experienced mom) is that they won't take my baby away and they can't take my house so we're going to epidural it up! And just wait for the day that bill shows up in the mailbox. Or I might hit up grandma who said she would pay for my epidural...I'm not sure if she really meant it but she said it.
