We heart chicks

of the chicken variety, of course.


8 new ladies (we hope) to add to our hen house. We had to plan for winter deaths and chicken wars so we over bought a little. We lost three of our layers to racoons last week so our egg production has been greatly reduced. Too bad it will take until spring for these gals to start pulling their own weight.
