...so we think the fox has rabies.
We took a neighborhood poll and the consensus is that foxes are nocturnal and the fact that this particular fox likes to run around ALL day long, has terrible looking fur/tail, and runs with an arched back would suggest he may not be feeling like himself.
The Fantastic Mr. Fox was unavailable to comment.
if we see him again we're calling the county wild life peeps to come take a look.

You need a fur bearers license to shoot it, otherwise my hubby would have LOVED to come take care of Mr. Fox for you.
He says calling the DWR is a good idea.
