I can't remember if I ever showed you these paintings:

this was a cabbage I grew in my garden. It was huge. Now it's forever immortalized.

Someday if I die early, Mike, you get this one.

Des had his first soccer game/practice today:

he was less than impressed

can you tell how much he loved swim lessons? He'll be repeating this course again next year...

By the end of our trip he was rolling in it...

Vaycay

We went to CA! It was fun, not at all warm, and a bit windy...but fun nonetheless.

We also got to meet the Los Osos police at midnight our first night. Suuuuuper fun. But it helped that we were buddy-buddy a few days later when we had to call and ask them to patrol our street that night for fear a crazy-man was going to come smash our windows in. No joke.

Good news, I don't want to move to CA now so yay!

I've got a four year old

holy moly times flies, eh? This cute redhead had a birthday last week and I finally bribed convinced him to get a haircut and let me take pictures. I tried sneaking in some 18-month shots of his brother (who is 19 months now...) but he was even harder to convince. dern kids.

I look super poopy but whatevs. I blew out the color enough to pass for acceptable. yeaaaaa!
